How can you help?
You don't have to be a Children's Panel member to support the Children's Panel. There is another way in which you can volunteer and that is through applying to become a member of the Area Support Team (AST) in your local area.
There are approximately 250 AST members in 22 ASTs across Scotland. Each AST is made up of a group of volunteers, who carry out functions on behalf of the National Convener of Children's Hearings Scotland (CHS), to support members of the Children’s Panel who sit on children's hearings in their area.
We are currently recruiting for a number of different volunteer AST roles across Scotland. Details of these vacancies can be found on the CHS website. View current vacancies.
