NOT SURE IF PANEL MEMBERSHIP IS FOR YOU?
You can find out more about being a panel member in Aberdeen by reading the information below. Also have a look at the Become a Children’s Panel member and the Panel member testimonials pages where you can discover what it is like for people like you, who are already children’s panel members and you can hear from young people about the differences that panel members can make to their lives.
As a new panel member you must be able to commit to undertaking an initial training programme which is spread over 14 weeks and you will need to be able to attend all of the local training dates. It is vital that panel members also continually develop and update their knowledge and practice to make the best decisions for children and young people, so being able to commit to ongoing training is also important.
