Highland and Moray

THE PANEL MEMBER RECRUITMENT CAMPAIGN WILL OPEN AGAIN ON MONDAY 14 AUGUST 2017.

If you would like to register your interest so that we can alert you once applications are open, please complete the expression of interest form by clicking on the 'Apply' button at the bottom of this page.

NOT SURE IF PANEL MEMBERSHIP IS FOR YOU?

You can find out more about being a panel member in Highland and Moray by reading the information below. Also have a look at the Become a Children’s Panel member and the Panel member testimonials pages where you can discover what it is like for people like you, who are already children’s panel members and you can hear from young people about the differences that panel members can make to their lives.

As a new panel member you must be able to commit to undertaking an initial training programme which is spread over 14 weeks and you will need to be able to attend all of the local training dates. It is vital that panel members also continually develop and update their knowledge and practice to make the best decisions for children and young people, so being able to commit to ongoing training is also important.

BEING A PANEL MEMBER IN HIGHLAND AND MORAY

Panel members in Highland and Moray are expected to commit to sitting on one hearings session per month (Moray) and one to two hearings per month (Highland), and to attend regular learning and development opportunities through the year.
