  • 10 September 2018, 6.45pm, Council Offices, 16 Church Street, Dunbarton, G82 1QL. Please note that entrance to the building will be via the rear (car park) entrance.

FINAL SELECTION DATES & INTERVIEWS

Confirmation Letter issued to successful candidates by 26 November 2018.

BEING A PANEL MEMBER IN WEST DUNBARTONSHIRE

As part of your role as a Panel Member in West Dunbartonshire you will be expected to commit to sit on one - two children's hearings every month and also to attend 50% of learning and development opportunities per year.

HEARINGS SCHEDULE

Dumbarton: Monday afternoon, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday morning and afternoon.

Note: Hearings on Wednesdays alternate between mornings and afternoons from week to week (in the morning one week and the afternoon the following week).

INTERVIEWS

Following a shortlisting process, shortlisted applicants will be invited to attend a selection procedure which will comprise a group discussion and individual interview.

This will be held on the afternoon of Thursday 25 October 2018 in the Council's offices at 16 Church Street, Dumbarton, G82 1QL. There is a possibility of a selection procedure also being held on the morning of Friday 26 October 2018.

Following the submission of their application, applicants will be contacted by the Clerk to the AST and invited to confirm their availability to attend a selection procedure. If two selection procedures are held, applicants' first preference for these will be accommodated wherever possible.
